Election to be held to fill vacancy on council

Following the resignation of Councillor Diana Lamb, an election to fill the vacancy on Market Weighton Town Council
will take place on 16th May 2002.

Potential candidates have until 18th April 2002 to register their intention to stand for election.

This election follows hot on the heels of the that held on 21st March 2002, when Richard Peake was elected, and yet again is a wonderful opportunity to become involved in the local community.
