Skate Park - Latest News

Plans and funding well advanced, and work on the park could start by the end of 2003

Plans for the skate park to be built on the War Memorial Playing Field are well in hand, with funding the main hurdle to be overcome.  Total costs are estimated at £16,000 of which £3000 are already in the bank.  Youngsters in the town are now awaiting the outcome of grant applications to Comic Relief and Awards for All, and they are confident that the applications will succeed.
