Gale Uproots Tree

Narrow escape for local house during gales.......

The gales which hit the local area on Saturday 20th March uprooted a tree on The Green, Market Weighton.  Fortunately the tree missed the adjacent house, but destroyed one of the Green's unique lamp standards and brought down a telephone line.
