Councillor Stephen King elected as Mayor of Market Weighton for the 14th Successive Year

Once again members of Market Weighton Town Council have elected Stephen King as Mayor, for the fourteen year in succession.  This is an unique occurrence and is unlikely to have been achieved anywhere else in the country, and in fact is the 15th time that councillor King has held this important office.

Councillor Mike Seaward was returned as Deputy Mayor.
