Vixen 87, plans to return to the airwaves on Sunday 14th November

Due to ever increasing popular demand, Market Weighton and District's community radio station - Vixen 87, plans to return to the airwaves on Sunday 14th November for it's 4th broadcast up until Saturday 12th December, for the build up towards Christmas 2004 and to include the Market Weighton Christmas light switch-on celebrations during early December.

However, in order for Vixen 87 to be yet another success the station needs to try to raise enough funds to pay for the licenses and costs associated with each broadcast, therefore the members of Vixen 87 are now embarking on their latest fundraising activities which include grant applications and approaching businesses for advertising and sponsorship.

As always Vixen 87 welcomes any help and ideas from both the business community and that of the public and if anyone would like to be of assistance in any way then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
