Broadband Availability in Market Weighton

Latest update, including Kingston Communications' increased connection speeds.

Kingston Communications have dropped their prices considerably and also increased their speeds. They are now able to provide a connection speed of up to 1500kbps which is up to 30 times faster than dial up. Prices start from as little as £18.99 per month and for a limited time only they are offering free modem and connection (worth over £100) to Market Weighton residents. They are organising a roadshow to be held at the Methodist Chapel Village Hall on November 6th from 10am to 4pm where members of their staff will be demonstrating broadband and answering any questions residents may have.

BT still have a "Ready for Service" date of 5th January 2005 for their exchange in the town, once enabled subscribers will have the option of signing up with ISPs who operate via BT lines.

An alternative option is to sign up with a satellite internet provider, as some subscribers have already done in the town.
