Descendants and information sought of Robert Malton m. Mary Lehman/Leaming in 1799, living in Market Weighton.

SEARCHING for decendants and information of Robert Malton m. Mary Lehman/Leaming in 1799, living in Market Weighton.

Two known children: George born c. 1802 and Israel born c. 1817.

Robert served on His Majesty's Ship Acasta in 1797 and was discharged 1798 due to a disability.  Robert came to Canada c. 1819 and obtained a land grant in the London Townships, Ontario of 100 acres.

His son George also obtained a land grant, married a Marion Boston, and his son Israel came to the Township and married Elizabeth Thompson in 1835.  Robert died on or about 14th day of April 1853 in London Township, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada.

The name found in Canada is often spelled as Malton/Moulton/Molton.
