Christmas Late Night Shopping.

Market Weighton's Christmas late night shopping event will take place on Monday 5th December 2005.  Arranged by the Market Weighton Area Businesses Ltd., local shops will be open between 7pm and 9pm and it is hoped that many of the shop keepers will be in fancy dress, and Father Christmas is expected to make a visit.

To make the event more enjoyable the town centre will be closed to traffic, and the traditional Christmas lights will be switched on.
