Vixen 87 - Back On-Air in May

Due to ever increasing popular demand, Market Weighton and District's community radio station - Vixen 87, will once again be returning to the airwaves on 87.9 FM on Sunday 7th May for its 7th broadcast up until Saturday 3rd June for the build up and including the ever expanding Giant Bradley Festival on Sunday 28th May.

However, in order for Vixen 87 to be yet another success the station needs to try to raise enough funds to pay for the licenses and costs associated with each broadcast, therefore the members of Vixen 87 are now embarking on their latest fundraising activities which include grant applications and approaching businesses for advertising and sponsorship.

As always Vixen 87 welcomes any help and ideas from both the business community and that of the public and if anyone would like to be of assistance in any way then please do not hesitate to get in touch. We would also welcome new members to the organisiation to help in all ares of the station as there are many tasks that need to be completed both during the preparations and once broadcasting has commenced.
