To celebrate the life of Britain’s tallest ever man, Giant William Bradley 7ft 9ins

The event is held every year on the last Sunday in May
to raise money for local charities and voluntary groups.

Volunteers are needed to help on Giant Bradley Day, we desperately need more help setting up and clearing up at the end, would anyone that wishes to help please contact Keith Lowe by or tel 01430 873506 or 01430 873755.

This year we have at last managed to get a full road closure in the Town Centre. The roads will be closed between Glenfield Avenue on Holme Road, Skelton Crescent on York Road, Church Close on Londesborough Road down to the mini roundabout at Southgate This will make the event much safer for the public and give much more space.
