Tesco Supermarket Development

The development of the new Tesco Supermarket proceeds at a rapid rate, with the demolition of the Euopower factory and clearance of the site.

The development of the town's new Tesco supermarket, filling station and shops is now taking shape following the demolition of the Europower Hydraulics Factory, and clearance of the site.   Hopefully the development will be completed sometime in the Summer months.

Then	Now

Update: The Tesco Supermarket development in Southgate is well under way, and is scheduled to be open at the end of July or early August. The development also includes a petrol station and six shops fronting onto Southgate.
