Plans for new Health and Social Care Centre to be unveiled.

There is to be a presentation of the plans for the new Health and Social Care Centre at the Londesborough Arms Hotel Friday Nov 9th 4pm to 7pm and Saturday Nov 10th 10 am to 5pm.
This will replace the old building on Londesborough Road.
It will bring with it the potential for the following improved services:
Chiropody
Dentist
Increased "out patient" clinics for the locality.
Day Case surgery ( hernias/vasectomies /lump and bump removal /carpal tunnel release etc)
Pharmacy
Social Services Centre
MacMillan Palliative Care facility
Meeting rooms
Conference facilities with video link
Hull /York Medical School teaching enhancements
Special Nurses in long term conditions and more .......

All in a State of the Art building designed utilising ecological principles , designed by an award winning architectural company called "ecoarc".

There will also be details of a new Park , substantial new housing development and the creation of a new roundabout at the Holme Road /A 1079 junction , which should enhance road safety.

The doctors from Market Weighton Surgery are encouraging people to attend and support the new development.
